Beverage Chemical Coordinator

US Foods, a leading food service distributor, is seeking a Beverage Chemical Coordinator to support our fast-paced wholesale trade operations. In this role, you will oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory control for beverage and sanitation chemicals, ensuring safe storage, accurate labeling, and regulatory compliance. You'll work closely with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to align product availability with customer demand, maintain SDS and audit documentation, monitor usage trends, and drive cost-effective, safety-focused improvements across our distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory levels of beverage and sanitation chemicals.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of chemicals per safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to align supply with demand.
• Maintain accurate records, SDS documentation, and compliance reporting.
• Monitor usage trends and recommend cost-effective product or process improvements.
• Support training of warehouse staff on safe chemical use and handling.
• Partner with vendors to resolve product, delivery, or quality issues.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and corrective actions related to chemical programs.
• Use warehouse or inventory systems to track stock, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
