Are you a dedicated Hematology/Oncology provider seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We have an urgent need for a provider to join our dynamic team near WOODBURY, CT, starting as soon as credentialed. This position offers a fulfilling experience covering both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic settings.

• Schedule: 3 clinic days (M-F) 8:00-4:30, occasional weekends, and night call (infrequent)
• Setting:
  • Inpatient consults
  • Outpatient Clinic
• Reason for Coverage: Leave of absence
• Call Schedule:
  • Weekends: 2-3 per year
  • Nights: 1:10
• Patient Demographic: Adults/Geriatric
• Case Distribution: 80% Hematology, 20% Oncology (no internal medicine)
• Physicians in Practice: 10
• Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): 8
• Patient Volume:
  • Hospital: 10 patients per day
  • Outpatient: 15 patients per day
• Trauma Level: Level I
• EMR: Epic
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days

• Board Certified: Required
• CT License: Required
• Local Candidates: Highly Preferred
• Certification Requirements: Board Certified
• State License Requirements: Connecticut
