• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
• Process transactions accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale systems
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments securely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
• Assist with stock replenishment as needed
• Promote store promotions and loyalty programs

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus
