Job Overview
The Senior HSE Advisor is responsible for overseeing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across facilities. This role provides leadership in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and corporate standards, and leading the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
The position plays a critical role in advising site leadership, supporting operational teams, and ensuring that all HSE processes, training, and continuous improvement initiatives are effectively executed.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee HSE compliance across facilities
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Promote a strong safety culture and act as a key HSE leader on-site
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE procedures and programs
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
- Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Ensure all employees meet HSE training and competency requirements
- Monitor HSE performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
- Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices in manufacturing environments
- Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) implementation and maintenance
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with a proactive safety mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 5–10 years of HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing or oil & gas environments
- Proven experience in HSE compliance, audits, and incident investigations
- Experience working with IMS frameworks (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 preferred)
- Strong English communication skills
