As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll help CIT grow awareness and demand through high-quality digital execution with a focus on social media, paid, and organic traffic drivers. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will own social media strategy and daily execution, support and optimize paid advertising, and strengthen website traffic and search performance through SEO support and campaign coordination.
In this role you will post social content and use Marketo analytics to understand what’s working and what needs to change. You’ll turn insights into action by testing creative content, improving targeting, refining messaging, and collaborating across the marketing team to repurpose existing content into platform-ready campaigns.
Core Functions- Own channel-by-channel social strategy and day-to-day execution across CIT’s social channels.
- Research platform best practices and develop a channel-specific posting cadence and monthly content calendar/schedule, then test and iterate based on performance.
- Manage the comment/DM response workflow, escalating questions, lead opportunities, or risk-sensitive issues to the Marketing Director as needed.
- Repurpose weekly and ongoing content (podcast episodes, webinars, blogs/whitepapers, long-form video) into social posts, carousels, short video clips, or community prompts.
- Create short-form video primarily by repurposing existing recordings; may also capture/create additional short clips as appropriate.
- Set up, manage, and optimize paid campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Linked In Campaign Manager to improve ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
- Drive qualified traffic to the CIT website through coordinated efforts across social, paid, and SEO support.
- Support on-page SEO tasks, including title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking recommendations, and content briefs aligned to search intent and AEO/Answer Engine Optimization concepts.
- Use Marketo as a core system to support measurement and insights across email and nurture performance.
- Apply CIT brand guidelines and approved templates to ensure content is consistent and on-brand across channels.
- Incorporate AI into daily workflows to enhance productivity, streamline work, and unlock innovative solutions.
- Experience posting professional content for a business/brand on social platforms (organic publishing, basic community management, and performance awareness).
- Foundational experience managing or supporting paid digital campaigns (e.g. Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Linked In Campaign Manager, etc.) with a willingness to learn and own optimizations across platforms.
- Strong copywriting skills for short-form digital content (social captions, ad copy, CTAs, and campaign variations).
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong computer and typing skills
