- Participate in a formal internship program in Internal Audit
- Complete various audit assignments and become familiar with policies, procedures, and audit methodology
- Work under the guidance and direction of experienced audit staff and managers
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to achieve goals
- Participate in relationship building, work assignments, coaching, performance feedback sessions, group projects, and learning sessions with key leaders
- Support risk assessments, evaluate risk controls, and apply compliance requirements to identify, manage, and mitigate risk
- Contribute to data-driven audit insights and operational excellence
- 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a Technology-related degree, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
- Successful completion of the 2026 Audit Internship Program
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools such as chat-based assistants and Microsoft Copilot
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, processes, and business challenges
- Critical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and support audit management activities
- Business reporting and analysis skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders
- Ability to build inclusive working relationships, apply influencing skills, and incorporate feedback
- Business acumen and commitment to excellent service
- Ability to support risk assessments, evaluate risk controls, and apply compliance requirements
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring current or future Wells Fargo visa sponsorship
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem‐solving capabilities, with a focus on risk assessment and compliance. Proficient in data analysis and business reporting, while effectively collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
