The primary function of this role is to support Senior Account Managers and Producers in servicing and retaining a book of personal lines insurance clients, ensuring excellent customer service and policy accuracy.
Responsibilities:- Assist in managing a portfolio of personal lines clients, including home, auto, umbrella, and other personal insurance products.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and new business applications.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare quotes and proposals using carrier systems and comparative raters.
- Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system (e.g., Applied Epic).
- Follow up with clients and carriers to ensure timely processing of documents and payments.
- Support Senior Account Managers with administrative tasks and client communications.
- Stay current on carrier guidelines, underwriting rules, and industry trends.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree a plus - Active Minnesota Property & Casualty license required
- 1-2 years of experience in insurance or customer service preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with agency management systems (Applied Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law
