Trades Launchpad: Entry-Level Runner to Skilled Technician

Entry Level
• Your Path Into the Trades Starts Here

This isn't just a job. It's a launching pad.

MSP has been family-owned since 1918 - approaching 4th generation ownership. We don't hire warehouse runners just to fill a role. We hire them because we believe in building careers. Our Runner Development Program gives you a structured, supported path into the trades when you are ready.

No experience required. Just reliability, work ethic, and a desire to grow.

Your Family Comes First
- Period.

Soccer games, school plays, family dinners - you’ll be there. We build schedules around the reality that our team members are parents, partners, and people with lives outside of work. This isn’t a perk. It’s part of our culture.

A Real Path Forward
- Not a Dead End

Most companies hire runners and leave them there. At MSP, this role is a starting point - not a destination. We have a formal development program designed to move you into the trades when you’re ready. We’ll build toward it together.

Locally & Independently Owned

Not a franchise. Not private equity-backed. MSP is a family business approaching 4th generation ownership - that kind of continuity says everything about how we operate. Your feedback reaches the people who make decisions, and you’ll know your leaders by name.

There’s no trade experience required for this role. What we’re looking for can’t be scored on a form - it’s who you are day to day.

• Reliable - you show up, on time, every day, and follow through on what you say
• Strong work ethic - you go beyond what’s asked and take pride in doing things right
• Eager to grow - you ask questions, seek feedback, and want to build a real career
• Able to push or pull up to 100 pounds
• Ability to pass a background and drug test
• High school diploma or equivalent

  What You’ll Do
