Lab Technician

Description

Dyne Fire Protection Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our testing team. In this role, you'll test and report results across a range of fire protection materials — including firefighting foam, antifreeze solutions, dry chemical agents, and fire sprinklers. You'll rotate between our foam and fire sprinkler labs for a varied workweek, with occasional opportunities to contribute to internal research projects, both independently and as part of a team.

• Perform routine analytical laboratory tests according to established procedures
• Rotate among multiple workstations and testing labs as needed
• Support internal research projects as assigned
• Assist with laboratory administrative tasks
• Take on additional duties as communicated by your supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, or prior lab technician experience (preferred)
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience (preferred)
• Working understanding of basic chemical concepts and properties
• Comfort with numerical data analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to follow instructions accurately
• A collaborative, team-first attitude
• Ability to stand and remain active for up to 7 hours per day
• Comfort with repetitive tasks and hands-on lab work
• Willingness to follow ISO 9001 and 17025 quality standards

• Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM;
  Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
• $22.00/hour
