** part of the firm's multi-year succession plan for an advisor that is retiring)-Woodbury, NJ (Southern New Jersey ) (initially primarily in-office, with potential for 1 to 2 remote days per week once fully acclimated)-Industry: Wealth management / financial advisory services-Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 base DOE, plus incentive-based compensation
About the Role
Our client is an established and growing wealth management practice in Southern New Jersey. The advisor will service and grow existing clients , while working closely with the firm's senior advisor.
The role offers a meaningful long-term career path as part of the firm's multi-year succession plan. This is not a traditional cold-calling or high-pressure sales role; the ideal candidate is relationship-driven, energetic, and interested in growing the business organically through existing channels and by servicing current clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients within the practice
- Provide financial planning and investment guidance based on individual client goals and needs
- Conduct client meetings, identify financial planning and investment needs, and provide guidance on retirement, investment strategies, and broader wealth management solutions.
- Develop new and existing relationships through the firm's established channels
- Support the continued growth of the practice while gradually assuming greater responsibility for client relationships
- Partner with the lead advisor to collaborate on strategy and best practices
- Prior relevant experience in wealth management, financial planning, investment advisory, or a related financial services environment; open to varying levels of experience where drive and professionalism are evident
- Series 7 required
- Series 65 or Series 66 preferred
- CFP preferred but not required; support toward obtaining the designation is available
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills
- Financial planning orientation and solid understanding of investment concepts
- Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive, with a passion for exceptional client service
- Ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative, entrepreneurial environment
- Entrepreneurial, with a strong desire to make an impact and be part of the continued growth of a thriving practice.
- Base salary of $70,000 to $80,000, plus incentive-based compensation
