Pride Staff is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician for a premier client located in Deptford, NJ. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired directly by our client from day one.

Position Overview
- Pay Rate: $55,000+ / annually (Commensurate with experience)
- Location: Deptford, NJ
- Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
- Schedule: Standard hours with 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day repairs and preventative maintenance of commercial property. Your duties will include:
- General Repairs: Diagnose and repair plumbing (faucets, valves, pumps), electrical (lighting systems, ballasts, motors), and HVAC systems.
- Building Envelope: Perform minor roof repairs, door/lock adjustments, and troubleshoot various building components.
- Grounds Maintenance: Monitor irrigation systems, assist with light landscaping, and ensure property cleanliness.
- Inspections: Conduct routine property walkthroughs using maintenance checklists; document all work orders and daily operations in the facility database.
- Project Support: Assist in monitoring tenant build-outs, capital improvements, and property renovation projects.
- Safety & Compliance: Supervise inspections for life safety systems and vertical transportation equipment (elevators).
- Emergency Response: Serve as a primary responder for building emergencies to protect occupants and property assets.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial building maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Availability: Must be able to respond to on-call issues 24/7.
- License: Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Independence: Ability to work effectively with little to no on-site supervision.
- Certification: HVAC certification is highly preferred.
