Accounting Manager​/Supervisor

Description

We are looking for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to support day-to-day accounting operations in Woodinville, Washington. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who can keep financial records accurate, manage billing activity across multiple projects, and partner effectively with operations teams. The position also plays an important part in period-end close activities and in maintaining reliable reporting for job cost and receivables.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee general ledger activity by reviewing entries, resolving discrepancies, and keeping records current and accurate.

- Administer fixed asset accounting, including tracking new purchases, recording retirements, and calculating depreciation schedules.

- Monitor accounts receivable performance by following outstanding balances, maintaining aging reports, and supporting collection efforts.

- Coordinate contract billing for several active jobs at once, ensuring charges are prepared correctly and submitted on time.

- Generate customer invoices with careful attention to accuracy, contract terms, and established billing timelines.

- Provide support for work-in-progress reporting by gathering project financial data and assisting leadership as needed.

- Review and prepare lien release documentation, applying the correct release type and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

- Contribute to month-end and year-end close by completing reconciliations, posting journal entries, and assisting with audit-ready records.

- Work closely with project managers, field teams, and accounting leadership to keep billing details and job cost information aligned.

- Handle additional accounting and administrative assignments while adapting to changing priorities and project-specific needs.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $115,000.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience with month-end close activities in an accounting environment.

- Strong working knowledge of general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and journal entry preparation.

- Background in accounts receivable processes, billing coordination, and invoice administration.

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities across several active projects simultaneously.

- Familiarity with fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and asset lifecycle tracking.

- Experience supporting financial statement audits or preparing documentation for audit review.

- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with accounting staff and operational teams.
