Construction Laborer/Technician - Environmental
Position located in Woodinville, WA.
Our client is a fully integrated environmental construction company delivering turnkey self‑perform construction solutions to environmental challenges. They serve both public and private‑sector clients with diversified service lines that include soil and groundwater remediation, decommissioning, sensitive habitat/waterway restoration, and water/wastewater/air pollution treatment.
Purpose of RoleThe Technician supports field staff by performing general field labor tasks in the construction environment.
Primary Responsibilities- Maintain dust control by watering the stockpile and truck routes.
- Direct traffic to ensure proper routing and safety.
- Spot operators so no one is behind the work zone.
- Identify utilities by potholing the surrounding area.
- Operate hand‑held construction equipment (e.g., shovel, digging bar).
- Observe safe work practices.
- Ensure trash, debris, and other items are removed from the job site.
- Secure the excavation area for safety.
- Responsible for SWPPP.
- Maintain consistent communication among crew members.
- Perform all daily necessary manual labor tasks on site.
- Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
Ideal:

- Understanding of proper safety procedures and hazard recognition.

- Self‑starter and go‑getter.
- 5+ years of experience.
- 40‑hour HAZWOPER or 8‑hour HAZWOPER refresher (refresher can be provided).
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Construction industry experience.
The physical demands include speaking and hearing, standing, walking, sitting, using hands to operate a keyboard, reaching with hands and arms, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. PayUp to $35.00/hr DOE.
