Job Summary

The Event Staff Supervisor is a working supervisor who is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the Event Staff at Chateau Ste Michelle Amphitheatre. Duties may also include management functions under the direction of the Operations Manager and the Guest Experience Manager.

What This Role Will Do
  • Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service‑related situations
  • Follow up with Security and Event Staff teams to ensure that service standards are met
  • Perform opening, running, and closing duties according to Live Nation policy
  • Inform guests of venue amenities and make recommendations
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through the work area and reporting any issues encountered
  • Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members
  • Create pre‑shift sheets and relay information from management directly to staff
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per Responsible Alcohol Service training and Live Nation alcohol policies
  • Communicate to Manager on Duty (M.O.D.) any issues that guests or team members may have
  • Work with the M.O.D. to resolve any and all guest issues, consulting or involving management if the situation escalates
  • On an ongoing basis lead and train staff, including assisting in staffing positions to ensure that all staff members are well‑informed on event‑specific details
  • Coordinate team rest periods in accordance with state and local law and help find coverage
  • Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating fans about our efforts
  • Partner with fellow band members at the end of the show to close the venue – this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricades, etc.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Guest Experience Manager and Operations Manager
What This Person Will Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+, and occasional sitting
