Position: Senior Global Sourcing Specialist (hardgoods & softgoods)

Location

Woodinville, WA. Onsite 4 days per week, 1 day remote. Must live within commuting distance.

Job Summary

Senior Global Sourcing Specialist responsible for leading sourcing strategy, supplier management, and end‑to‑end execution of product orders across custom hardgoods and softgoods such as vinyl figures, plush, drinkware, and totes. Operates with a high degree of autonomy, managing complex, high‑impact projects, proactively identifying risks, influencing decisions, and driving on‑time delivery. Plays a key leadership function by anticipating business needs, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and holding partners accountable.

The role has the potential to evolve into people management with opportunities to mentor team members and lead direct reports.

Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, production, or supply chain
  • Experience managing complex or high‑volume programs independently
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturers (China preferred)
  • Experience in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments
  • Prior experience mentoring others or leading projects preferred
  • Experience with custom products (hardgoods, plush, or similar) strongly preferred

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead sourcing strategy and execution for assigned categories or key programs
  • Manage multiple and complex projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment to cost, quality, and timeline expectations
  • Proactively identify risks, elevate issues early, and drive resolution to protect production timelines and on‑time delivery
  • Partner cross‑functionally (PD, Sales, Logistics, Finance) to ensure alignment on timelines, specs, and deliverables
  • Influence decision‑making by providing clear recommendations grounded in data and sourcing expertise
  • Hold internal stakeholders and suppliers accountable to key milestones, deliverables, and SLA expectations
  • Drive supplier selection, onboarding, and performance management with a strategic lens
  • Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and production terms to meet business and margin targets
  • Oversee production timelines end‑to‑end; ensure issues are addressed before impacting delivery
  • Validate and manage landed cost, proactively identifying variances and improvement opportunities
  • Support development and implementation of sourcing SOPs and best practices
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on sourcing processes and execution
  • Potentially manage direct reports as the role evolves
  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, supplier data, and project tracking
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing and cross‑functional workflows

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $95,000 to $125,000. Total compensation includes robust PTO, vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays, summer Fridays, medical, dental, vision, life, auto and AD&D insurance, 401(k) with matching, tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs, and professional development opportunities. Certain revenue‑generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
