Seasonal, part‑time Line Cook position available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. The role involves preparing food to the chef’s specifications, setting up stations, and assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily tasks. The seasonal opportunity runs from May through October, requiring evening and weekend availability to support our Summer Concert Series.

Job Responsibilities
  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Preparing food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
  • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Stocking inventory appropriately.
  • Ensuring all dishes are delivered together, promptly, and with consistent high quality.
  • Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations as well as safety standards.
  • Cleaning and assisting with dishwashing, as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Position Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or over with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food Handler’s Permit required.
  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, culinary school, or catering preferred.
  • Basic prep, knife, and baking skills.
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
Your Compensation

$19.45 – $25.27 per hour based upon relevant experience. We provide equal pay for equal work; individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s prior experience and education level as it pertains to the role.
