Pharmacy Warehouse Assistant
The Pharmacy Warehouse Assistant supports pharmacy operations by handling prescription drug inventory, performing warehouse and packing tasks, and ensuring accurate shipping and receiving activities. This role combines pharmacy support functions with general warehouse duties to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant medication storage and distribution.
Responsibilities- Perform general pharmacy and warehouse duties, including handling, organizing, and packing prescription drugs and supplies.
- Maintain proper storage of drugs and supplies, including appropriate refrigeration of perishable products in accordance with established guidelines.
- Monitor, adjust, and calibrate pharmacy equipment to ensure accurate and reliable operation.
- Fill dispensing boxes and complete related preparation work to support pharmacy fulfillment processes.
- Create or correct shipping labels as needed to ensure accurate and timely delivery of packages.
- Bring packages to shipping, mail, and courier locations as required to support outbound logistics.
- Monitor prescription drug inventory within the pharmacy computer system and update records as needed.
- Receive incoming inventory and verify accurate product receipt against documentation.
- Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies and help maintain accurate stock levels.
- Perform cycle counting activities to reconcile inventory and support order processing.
- Complete order processing tasks in alignment with pharmacy and warehouse procedures.
- Follow all safety, handling, and storage protocols for prescription medications and supplies.
- Experience working in either a pharmacy or warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of basic pharmacy or warehouse operations, including packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks during the workday.
- Basic inventory management skills, including familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
- High School Diploma or GED (or higher).
- Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License or the ability to obtain licensure before hire.

- Comfort working with prescription drug inventory in a regulated environment.
- Attention to detail when handling medications, labels, and inventory records.
- Ability to follow written procedures and standard operating guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks in a pharmacy warehouse setting.
- Reliability and punctuality in a structured, time-sensitive work environment.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain Washington State Pharmacy Assistant licensure in compliance with local regulations.
This role is based in a pharmacy warehouse environment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Occasional overtime may be requested based on business needs but is not routinely expected. The position involves working around pharmacy equipment, refrigerated storage units for perishable medications, and standard warehouse shipping and receiving areas. Team members spend much of the day on their feet, moving between storage areas, packing stations, and shipping locations, and regularly lifting boxes or inventory items up to 35 pounds.
The environment emphasizes accuracy, safety, and compliance with pharmacy handling standards while maintaining efficient inventory and order processing workflows.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
