Preschool Special Education Teacher Assistant

F.J. White Learning Center serves our students in grades TK-2. Castle Rock Elementary School serves our students in grades 3-5. Woodlake Valley Middle School serves our students in grades 6-8. Woodlake High School serves grades 9-12 students, and the Three Rivers and Seville students join the district. Bravo Lake also serves students in grades 9-12 who need an alternative setting.

Woodlake Community Day School serves students in grades 7-12.

Child Development Associate Teacher Permit Requirements: o Complete 12 semester units of eligible course work; o Complete at least 50 days of experience in an instructional setting

High School diploma or equivalent required;
• AA Degree or 48 college units required or passing score on the TCOE Instructional Aide Assessment Test or passing score on the District Proficiency Test;
• Must provide proof of Immunizations including tuberculosis, flu, measles, and whooping cough;
• Understands the needs of IEP's;
• Valid CPR/First Aid certifications.
