Role:
Provides coordinated nursing care for patients, supervising nursing staff and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality care according to established standards and the nursing process.
Responsibilities:- Collects and analyzes patient data, develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, and evaluates patient outcomes.
- Participates in discharge planning, delegates tasks appropriately, and offers patient and family education.
- Ensures a safe, healing environment and promotes health.
- Requires a valid RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and AHA/ARC certifications in ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
- Preferred candidates have a BSN and acute care experience.
- Strong critical thinking, judgment, collaboration, and communication skills are essential.
- Assess patient needs, develop care strategies, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Maintains compliance with facility and department-specific licensing and certification requirements.
