The Work You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills for precision machining
- Install tooling, fixtures, and work pieces and verify proper setups
- Load, run, and adjust CNC programs at the machine
- Perform drilling, milling, turning, and cutting operations
- Conduct test runs and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Document measurements, inspections, and production activity
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams

Machines, Controls & SoftwareYou’ll work with equipment and tools including:
- Machines: CNC Lathes and CNC Mills
- Controls: CNC machine controls (specific platforms based on cell)
- CAM Software:
Mastercam (strong plus) - Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Metals commonly used in precision machining

What We’re Looking ForRequired:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist / Setup Operator
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Hands‑on experience with CNC machine setup, tooling, and offsets
- Knowledge of CNC programming fundamentals and machine controls
- Experience performing part inspection and quality verification
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Safety‑minded, dependable, and able to work independently
Preferred (Not Required):
- Mastercam experience
- Formal technical training or CNC certification
- Experience troubleshooting complex machining issues
