- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and suppliers, to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Prepare and present project updates to management and clients, highlighting milestones, challenges, and solutions.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery timelines.
- Address any issues or delays that arise during the construction process, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Mentor and train junior staff and subcontractors, fostering a culture of safety and excellence on‑site.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to construction practices.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
- Utilize project management software to track progress, manage budgets, and report on project status.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field, with a focus on project supervision.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a strong aptitude for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with sustainable building practices and green construction methods.
- Familiarity with local construction industry standards and regulations in Washington State.
- Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
- Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous for communication with diverse teams.
