Yuba Community College District is accepting qualified applicants for possible temporary part-time teaching assignments. These positions are filled based on the needs of the department and are on-going recruitments. A complete application includes the following:

Woodland Community College - Woodland, CA
- Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Ecology courses up to 10 hours/week
- Organize and teach all levels of Ecology classes
- Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning;
- Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses;
- Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester;
- Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired
Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Required Qualifications- Master’s in ecology or environmental studies
- OR the equivalent
- OR see Interdisciplinary Studies
- Master’s in the interdisciplinary area
- OR
- Master’s in one of the disciplines included in the inter-disciplinary area and upper division or graduate course work in at least one other constituent discipline.
Preference may be given to candidates with life or teaching which would demonstrate the clear ability to teach History to community college students.
