Estimated Salary: 130-140k base (Additional compensation includes bonuses for exceeding expectations, and bringing in new clients)

Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Employment Law Attorney with a strong background in wage and hour litigation, including PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) experience. This role will in defending employment-related claims and advising on compliance strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage employment litigation matters, particularly wage and hour disputes.
- Handle PAGA claims and represent the company in related proceedings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on case strategy.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and responses.
- Provide guidance on employment law compliance and risk mitigation.
- Support discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in CA.
- Minimum of 3 years of employment litigation experience (not just advice & counsel).
- Experience with PAGA claims strongly preferred.
- Open to candidates from the plaintiff side, provided they are committed to transitioning to defense.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
