+ Assess patients physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs considering diagnosis, age, care setting, desire for care and response to care plan.

+ Plan care, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.

+ Deliver competent care as required by patient, plan of care, and care setting.

+ Evaluate patients responses to care.

+ Provide interactive patient and family education.

+ Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team and the public.

** Job Requirements*
* Required

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ One year of experience as an Emergency Department RN within the last 5 years

+ California RN license

+ Basic Life Support - CPR

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days

+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 90 Days

Preferred

+ Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse PNCB, upon hire
