Licensed Vocational Nurse
Under general supervision of the Director of Student Services and the professional direction of a California credentialed School Nurse, a Licensed Vocational Nurse provides Specialized Health Care Services (SPHCS) to medically fragile students and students with exceptional needs, as well as, general education students.

REQUIRED:
Graduation and appropriate licensure from a credentialed nursing school; experienced in medication administration; and, have recent experience working either in an acute care setting or in a home or school setting with individuals with multiple disabilities and medical needs.

Must have the skills to communicate with individuals from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds; to support administrative, health, instructional and support staff; effective interpersonal and communication skills; and, have current medical skills, including pediatric experience Licenses and Certificates: TB test clearance;
Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance; valid Driver's license and evidence of insurability; valid California LVN license, and valid First Aid and CPR certification. See the job description for additional information.
