Job SummaryMidland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, provides advanced pavement preservation solutions for our customers' needs. We are currently looking for Laborers out of our Clearfield, PA location.
Main Responsibilities- General laborer duties associated with seal coating
- Cleaning and preparing the construction site and pavement surfaces
- Safely maintain traffic control including flagging duties
- Keep equipment and tools in good working condition
- Work in a team oriented environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to assist the crew
- Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Possession of valid CDL is preferred
- Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain
- Frequent exposure to loud noise
- Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
- Regularly exposed to extended periods of physical activity in extreme heat
- Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals
- Required to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, and overnight travel with overnight stays
