Swing Shift- CNC Operator

Located in Woodland, WA, Life Port is a leading manufacturer of medical transportation and interior products and ballistic armor protection systems for aircraft.

The CNC Operator I is responsible for operating CNC equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality parts that meet specifications. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to grow as part of a high-performing manufacturing team.

• Start and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions, and notify the lead or supervisor of any issues.
• Perform thorough first-part inspections to verify parts meet specifications before production continues.
• Meet job standard cycle times with minimal supervision.
• Identify production issues and communicate concerns to the supervisor or lead in a timely manner.
• Perform general machine shop duties as assigned.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and proper equipment usage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Strong focus and ability to stay attentive during repetitive tasks.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination/manual dexterity.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Works well in a team environment with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.

• 1-3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with MS applications.
• Strong skills and aptitude in math.

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment. All employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when required.

• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. Part 120.14 is required.
