We are seeking a skilled Senior BI Engineer with strong Oracle and PostgreSQL database expertise and advanced SQL skills to design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience with Micro Strategy Workstation, along with exposure to modern BI tools such as AWS Quick Sight and/or Power BI. This role will also leverage AI/GenAI tools to help automate report generation, documentation, and data analysis workflows, and support natural language query (NLQ) capabilities for BI dashboards to improve self‑service analytics.

Experience with Snowflake is a plus.

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
• Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.
• Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, technology, data science, statistics, analytics, or related quantitative and software development field.
• Candidate is required to travel to our Baltimore office once a week (Tuesday).
• 5+ years of Micro Strategy development experience, including Micro Strategy Workstation.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools such as AWS Quick Sight, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) for data analysis and productivity.
• Must show appetite for active learning, embracing change and mentoring others in organization.

• Design, develop, and deploy Micro Strategy reports, dashboards, and schema objects using Micro Strategy Workstation.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries across Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Build and manage Micro Strategy metadata (attributes, facts, hierarchies, transformations).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into BI solutions.
• Optimize reports, dashboards, and queries for performance and scalability.
• Integrate Micro Strategy with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other data sources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues.
• Maintain documentation for BI solutions and data models.
• Leverage AI/GenAI tools to automate report generation, documentation, and data analysis workflows.
• Build or integrate natural language query (NLQ) capabilities for BI dashboards.
