Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in the food service and distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk I to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk I, you will be an essential part of the Finance Department supporting invoice processing and vendor relations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk I

Location: Woodridge, IL

Pay Range: $18.26

Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

• Oversee the timely processing of vendor invoices for factory-direct orders.
• Audit factory direct invoices to ensure correct costs and calculations.
• Research inquiries from the Sales Department regarding invoices and freight rates.
• Process invoices into the Accounts Payable System accurately and efficiently.
• Escalate issues beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties and perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.
• Computer literacy and experience in writing business correspondence.
• Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
