Learning Resource Center (LRC) Assistant

Job goal is to maintain efficient operation of the Learning Resource Center and building technology. Must be proficient in computer skills which include:
Google Suite (or similar), word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation applications, email and the Internet.

• Assists students and staff with LRC Materials and Technology.
• Maintains the proper circulation of LRC Materials and Technology.
• Provides for the proper care of LRC Materials, shelves and files.
• Maintains an updated database of LRC Materials and the circulation program.
• Processes requests for LRC Materials and Technology.
• Maintain an orderly and organized environment to promote staff and student learning.
• Assists the Learning Resource Center Specialist in various tasks such as preparing interest centers and displays, contributing to collection development, maintenance and inventory.
• Facilitate the effective operation of building technology through troubleshooting, maintenance and other technology related functions.
• Processes all new procured LRC Materials in all formats obtained.
• Maintain LRC operations in absence of LRS.
• To perform other duties and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned.
