What You’ll Do

As an Overnight Supervisor
, you will:

  • Designate senior staff as lead when not on duty.
  • Operate as Senior staff when on duty.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the facility.
  • Oversee the implementation of the patients schedule including intake and screening of new and existing patients.
  • Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.
  • Facilitate new employee on-the-job training.
  • Provide direction for overnight staff regarding job duties and responsibilities.
  • Schedule employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met; attends mandatory in-service meetings and trainings.
  • Conduct effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees, documents the content of such meetings, and provides feedback.
  • Conduct headcount checks, nightly safety checks, and outside perimeter checks per contracting/licensing requirements.
  • Utilize crisis intervention techniques and responds and intervenes during conflicts.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university and one year work experience with children; OR
  • Associate’s degree or 60 Credit hours from an accredited college/university and three years’ work experience with children.

Other

Qualifications:

  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing.
  • Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors.
  • Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks, including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
Schedule
  • Full-Time
  • 11pm to 7am
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
