General Responsibilities include:
- Participate in business development activities to develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
- Prepare Construction Surveying layout calculations and various surveys including Alta, Boundary, Topographic, Route, Residential, and Construction as-built/record drawings.
- Manage survey projects from setup through completion.
- Bid new projects and create/write proposals.
- Manage client interaction.
- Maintain project budgets and collections.
- Assist other Project Managers and Professional Land Surveyors with drafting and project preparation.
- Preform Construction layout calculations and QC calculations by support staff.
- May perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Must have 7+ years of land surveying experience.
- Professional licensure in Illinois is preferred, but not required. CSTII or SI is preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D with experience in preparing accurate Construction layout calculations, and the ability to prepare Boundary, Platting, and Topographic Surveys.
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively within the survey team and with other disciplines working on the same project(s).
- Ability and willingness to travel for short periods of time.
- Possess and maintain a current driver's license in good standing.
