** The Technical Training & Instructional Design Specialist will develop engaging, accurate, and effective training programs for technical products and technologies. This role will work closely with engineers, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and graphic designers to translate complex technical information into clear, practical learning experiences.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and technical content development, along with a passion for technology. Previous hands-on automotive or dealership experience and project management experience are highly desired.

** Technical Training Developer Responsibilities
*** Analyze customer needs and feedback to identify training requirements.
* Design comprehensive course roadmaps incorporating a variety of learning activities.
* Develop engaging and informative course modules, workbooks, and other training materials.
* Integrate multimedia elements such as videos, animations, and simulations.
* Ensure content accuracy and alignment with product specifications.
* Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to understand product features and functionality.
* Conduct independent research on new technologies, perform on-vehicle validation, and assist with lab creation.
* Translate complex technical language into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand learning materials.
* Stay up to date on the latest technical developments and industry trends.
* Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to promote effective knowledge retention.
* Tailor content to different learning styles and skill levels.
* Design assessments to measure learner progress and course effectiveness.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and graphic designers.
* Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Provide progress updates and maintain clear documentation.
* Effectively multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time to meet project deadlines.
