Process Engineer
The Process Engineer develops, implements, and improves manufacturing processes to support new product development and production in a clean, laboratory-style environment. This role focuses on screen printing, material evaluation, process validation, and continuous improvement of roll-to-roll and sheet-based manufacturing processes. Working closely with technicians and operators, the Process Engineer drives process optimization, root cause analysis, equipment improvements, and quality initiatives to enhance yield, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.
Responsibilities- Design and implement manufacturing processes for new products and evaluate material performance.
- Improve existing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support process optimization.
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment and technologies.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and control plans.
- Collaborate with operators and technicians on process setup, training, and support.
- Conduct process validation and equipment qualification activities.
- Analyze production data, yields, and process metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support prototyping, testing, and process experimentation.
- Ensure compliance with Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S standards.
- Prepare technical reports related to process improvements and investigations.
- Measure process performance and verify effectiveness of implemented changes.
- Implement new manufacturing methods and train personnel on new processes.
- Own assigned processes or products to ensure quality, performance, and delivery objectives are met.
This is a Permanent position based out of Woodridge, IL.
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr. Health, vision, 401K, dental, etc.
This is a fully onsite position in Woodridge, IL.
This position is anticipated to close on Jul 14, 2026.
