Process Engineer
Seeking a Process Engineer to support and optimize advanced manufacturing processes in a high-tech, precision-focused production environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting equipment and process issues, improving quality, yield, and efficiency, supporting equipment upgrades, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, laboratory, or advanced technology environments
- Experience supporting complex production equipment and manufacturing processes
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in cleanroom or controlled environments and follow detailed procedures
- Experience with data analysis, process improvement, and technical documentation
Preferred Experience:
- Semiconductor, thin-film, advanced materials, electro-optical, or precision manufacturing industries
- Process automation, programming, or process-control systems
- Testing, validation, and repair of electro-mechanical systems
- Reading engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodridge, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.30 - $55.28/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
