Location:

CDC-Chicago, IL - Woodridge, 10350 Argonne Drive Suite, Chicago, IL 60517, USA

Compensation:
The target salary for this position is $61,500, within the Grade 11 pay range of $53,390.65 to $74,790.83. Eligible for an incentive bonus up to 5% of annual salary prorated from start date.

Work Schedule:

On site at the Woodridge, IL facility. Required hours are 10 am–7 pm, with some on‑call shifts expected.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day technical support for end users, including hardware, applications, and system access issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and software.
  • Support employees in office, manufacturing, and warehouse environments.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate IT teams.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including setting up new equipment.
  • Monitor network connectivity and work with providers to resolve outages.
  • Monitor nightly batch schedules and perform basic troubleshooting when issues arise.
  • Support IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience providing end‑user and infrastructure technical support.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and follow established procedures.
  • Experience monitoring nightly batch schedules and performing basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with network hardware and software.
  • Experience with network and security administrative processes such as password management.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in food distribution or logistics environments.
  • Experience working in or supporting systems within a unionized workforce environment.
  • Experience supporting multi‑site warehouse operations.
  • Experience supporting ERP and similar software solutions.
  • Experience supporting Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to work within an office environment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment.
  • Must organize, prioritize, multi‑task, meet deadlines, act professionally, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Some travel required.
