2nd Shift Maintenance Technician; Manufacturing

Home Run Inn Pizza is looking for a reliable and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Food Production Plant on 2nd Shift!

Woodridge, IL

The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability to repair machines to minimize downtime. Must provide safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.

Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-1:30am and Sunday 5:00am-1:30pm.

• An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3‑phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems
• PLC troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability with practical mechanical & electrical aptitude.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
• Working knowledge of power transmission equipment and bearings
• Familiar with pumps, both air and electric
• Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3‑phase motor control circuits
• Some knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components.
• Utilize electrical/mechanical skills to maintain machinery.
• Contribute to a collaborative safety culture that drives results.
• Provide rapid response to ensure seamless productivity
• Set‑up production equipment necessary for the specific day’s activity; assist with shutdowns as well.
• Disassemble equipment, rebuild, and replace defective parts and components as needed and reassemble to make final equipment adjustments

• Electrical and mechanical aptitude required in addition to at least 5 years of related maintenance experience.
• 2‑3 years in troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for long periods, bend, twist and stoop.
• Ability to use various maintenance tools and personal computer.
• Ability to work all shifts as needed and be on‑call for emergencies.
• Ability to work in a production environment. This job has exposure to ambient/refrigerator/freezer.
• Ability to read & draw schematics.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience is preferred.
• High level of electrical understanding (high & low voltage).
• Must be able to work 2nd shift, and 1st shift on Sundays.
