This role focuses on building high-performance RF/microwave interconnect solutions at a manufacturing location near Chicago, IL. The position is part of Teledyne Storm Microwave.
Responsibilities- Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations under close supervision.
- Assemble units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and printed circuit boards.
- Solder and desolder through-hole and SMT components using soldering iron and hot air techniques.
- Install and remove discrete components (transformers, resistors, capacitors, etc.) on printed circuit assemblies.
- Assemble connectors, perform interface gauge measurements, and shrink marker sleeves and strain reliefs.
- Check mechanical length of cables and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Read and interpret documents and drawings accurately.
- Lifts and moves parts, bins, and boxes as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Soldering experience or MIL Standard Soldering Certification (preferred).
- Basic math skills and 1–2 years of related experience (preferred).
- Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $31,100.00 - $41,500.00 (estimate; actual compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and job factors).
