Material Handler

G&W Electric Co, a global leader in innovative power grid solutions, is seeking a Material Handler I to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will safely receive, move, and stage materials to ensure timely supply to production lines. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing cycle counts. You'll collaborate closely with production teams in a quality- and safety-focused environment while building technical skills and growing within a stable, global organization.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, unload, and move materials and components within the facility
• Stage and deliver materials to production lines according to schedules and work orders
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP or inventory systems
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5
• S/housekeeping standards
• Communicate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve material issues
• Identify and report damaged materials or discrepancies
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
