Material Handler

G&W Electric Co., a global leader in power grid solutions, is seeking a Material Handler II to support manufacturing operations. In this role, you will receive, inspect, store, and distribute materials and components used in electrical equipment production. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and material handling equipment, performing accurate inventory transactions, staging parts for work orders, and maintaining organized, safe work areas.

You'll collaborate with production, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure timely material flow and support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components against documentation
• Store and organize materials in designated warehouse and production areas
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Stage and deliver materials to production lines based on work orders and schedules
• Perform inventory transactions and adjustments using ERP or inventory systems
• Conduct cycle counts and help resolve inventory discrepancies
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and quality teams to support material needs
• Identify and support process improvements in material flow and handling
• Follow company policies, quality procedures, and safety guidelines at all times
