Position Details

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 depending on expertise and years of experience.

Registered Nurse - Surgery/OR

Location:

Edward Hospital – Naperville, IL

Hours:

Monday‑Friday, 6:30 am – 7:00 pm, rotating evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays on call. 36 hours per week.

• Render professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Employ critical thinking skills to assess patient condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient‑care tasks to other staff.
• Function as a team member to fulfill unit goals.

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association.
• Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN required within five years from the start date.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within ninety days of start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within ninety days of start date.
• Preferred:
  Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Previous OR/surgery experience.
