Warehouse Quality Control Lab Technician

Join a Global Industry Leader! We're hiring a Warehouse Quality Control Lab Technician for a well-established manufacturer of plumbing fixtures, faucets, and household hardware products. This state-of-the-art Woodridge facility supports quality testing, product returns, distribution, and customer satisfaction for trusted brands such as Gerber.

What You'll Do As a Quality Control Lab Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet high-quality standards while supporting warehouse operations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform product testing and maintain testing equipment
• Inspect returned products to determine defects, damages, and warranty eligibility
• Process customer returns from UPS, Fed Ex, and other channels
• Document findings and support claims and returns investigations
• Pick, assemble, and pack customer display and showroom orders
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Communicate professionally with the corporate returns team via email
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Support the mounting department and assist with special projects
• Cross-train in multiple departments to expand your skills
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Assist with audits, inspections, and ongoing quality initiatives

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, quality control, or inspection experience
• Experience using power tools such as drills, saws, and screwdrivers
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and staying active throughout the day
• Basic computer skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office
• Experience with RF scanners preferred
• Forklift experience (Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-Down) is a plus
• Oracle experience is a bonus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
