Overview
Symbria is looking for a Director of Business Development! The Director of Business Development, Pricing Liaison is responsible for driving business development efforts and achieving sales objectives across Symbia’s business lines, including Symbria Therapy, Symbria Well-Being, and Symbria Pharmacy Services. This role supports both short- and long-term strategic growth objectives and requires the ability to effectively position and promote the full scope of Symbia’s services to prospective clients.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales plans for assigned territories, securing new accounts and expanding existing client relationships.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across assigned regions.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for assigned Symbia business lines.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Symbia’s services and apply it to develop client-focused solutions.
- Stay informed on long-term care market trends, customer needs, legislation, and reimbursement changes.
- Partner with management and marketing to deliver consistent sales presentations and materials.
- Use the CRM system to manage prospects, track activity, and forecast sales.
- Gather and report market intelligence to support tactical and strategic decision-making.
- Represent Symbia at conferences, trade shows, and industry events; staff exhibits and follow up on leads.
- Submit regular reports on sales activity, pipeline, and results.
- Participate in scheduled coaching sessions with manager.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
- Travel as required to support sales objectives.
- Any and all duties as assigned.
This position requires 40-50% travel across the assigned territory to participate in client presentations and meetings.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of seven years of proven success in business development, sales, or customer engagement roles.
- Demonstrated experience selling to senior-living and long-term care organizations, including familiarity with reimbursement models and service offerings.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage territories, execute sales plans, and drive sustainable revenue growth through complex client acquisition and retention efforts.
- Residency within the assigned territory, with the ability to maintain strong market presence through regular in-person engagement, networking, and participation in industry and professional associations.
