Position SummaryWe are seeking a driven and customer focused Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for managing an established territory, developing long‑term relationships with clients, and generating sales through proactive outreach and consultative selling. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is passionate about sales and customer service, and seeks continuous professional growth in the food service industry.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in a minimum of 30 outbound calls per day to existing and prospective customers within your assigned territory.
- Build and nurture lasting customer relationships that drive loyalty, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Leverage a consultative sales approach to understand client needs, recommend solutions, and close deals.
- Achieve and exceed sales and gross profit targets by maximizing opportunities within your territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and manufacturers to deliver customer‑centric solutions.
- Act as a strategic partner by staying informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging customer needs.
- Manage inquiries related to product specifications, pricing, availability, and service‑related issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates using the CRM system daily.
- Draft tailored sales proposals and quotes to accelerate the sales cycle.
- Attend sales meetings, vendor training, trade shows, and industry events (may include evenings/weekends) to enhance product knowledge and sales acumen.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Proven experience in inside sales, telesales, or a related customer‑facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident and persuasive approach.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated work ethic and ability to thrive in a team‑oriented culture.
- Experience in the food service equipment and supplies industry.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot).
- College degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
