Employment Type:
Casual Positions (20 hours fortnight)
Remuneration: $45.35 – $49.47 per hour, including 25% casual loading + super + salary packaging + access to staff discounts & benefits
AboutThe Role
As a Disability Support Worker
, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of individuals with disabilities by providing tailored support to help them live independently, engage in the community, and develop essential life skills.
- Deliver creative and engaging individual or group activities
- Support clients in achieving personal and developmental goals
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and meal preparation
- Provide in‑home and community‑based support to promote independence
- Encourage skill development through mentoring and positive role‑modeling
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure high‑quality care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with guidelines
- Creativity and motivation to deliver meaningful support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A client‑focused approach, valuing inclusivity and respect
- Adaptability and problem‑solving skills to work in dynamic environments
- Experience working with neuro‑diverse individuals (desirable but not essential)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Valid QLD Driver’s License

Part of Lutheran Services, Keystone Centre disability services offer support programs for people living with a disability. We provide centre‑based day service, home support, specific skills training, and case management.
