Materials Analyst

Overview

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Materials Analyst in Woodridge, IL. The role reports to the Logistics Supervisor and partners with other departments to ensure efficient logistics services. Responsibilities include executing daily shipments, processing goods receipts, maintaining accurate inventory, overseeing warehouse operations, and seeking continuous improvement.

• Execute daily shipments per company schedule using approved carrier base.
• Process received goods through receipts, put away, and issue out.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain appropriate levels, enforcing policies and procedures to support efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations.
• Oversee warehouse locations and labeling, ensuring goods are correctly stored and reflected in the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system.
• Manage and maintain warehouse material handling equipment.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• 3+ years of relevant experience managing warehouse operations: shipping, receiving, inventory control, goods receipt, documentation, issue out, escalations & resolutions. Experience in high‑volume automotive or start‑up environments is strongly preferred.
• Technical background with Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required.
• Experience with Warehouse Inventory Tracking System (WITS) is an advantage.
• Experience operating in a high‑velocity environment, able to track multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Super‑user of common ERP or WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
• High school diploma required; associate degree or higher is a plus.
• Forklift experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts such as 5S, 5‑Why, Kanban, etc.

High school diploma or GED required. Warehousing and logistics operations work experience preferred.
