Job Summary
This position supports Warehouse Operations and Logistics in Woodridge, Illinois, with a primary focus on administrative coordination, order processing, inventory tracking, and shipment documentation within a fast-paced environment.
The Warehouse Administration Specialist is responsible for managing system transactions, supporting shipping and receiving documentation, coordinating inventory records, and ensuring accurate processing of receptions and shipments. While the role includes occasional warehouse support activities, the primary emphasis is on administrative, ERP, and logistics coordination responsibilities.

- Process and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions within ERP or warehouse systems
- Create shipping labels and shipment documentation using UPS, Fed Ex, or similar systems
- Ensure accurate system updates for invoicing and tracking purposes
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
- Support cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and reporting activities
- Communicate with internal teams regarding shipment status, material availability, and order updates
- Assist with scheduling freight pickups and coordinating deliveries
- Maintain organized filing and documentation related to logistics and warehouse activities
- Support warehouse organization and operational efficiency as needed
- Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Provide occasional hands‑on warehouse support including receiving and staging materials when required
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems or warehouse management systems (JD Edwards or similar preferred)
- Experience with shipping software such as UPS World Ship, Fed Ex Ship Manager, or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to occasionally lift and move materials up to 45 lbs as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in logistics coordination, warehouse administration, customer service, or operational support
- Experience processing orders, shipments, and inventory transactions in ERP or warehouse systems
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems
- Experience with UPS, Fed Ex, or freight shipment systems
- Previous experience supporting warehouse or logistics operations
- Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $25.00 - $32.00 USD hourly
