Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack products and materials in the warehouse.

* Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, or other storage units.

* Transport materials to appropriate storage areas and ensure correct placement.

* Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.

* Assist in organizing products for shipment and order fulfillment.

* Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

* Inspect forklift equipment regularly and perform minor maintenance as needed.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and shipping areas.

* Collaborate with other team members to meet shipping and production goals.

* Report any safety hazards, accidents, or equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.

* Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging and labeling products.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Previous experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.

* Valid forklift certification (OSHA-certified) or the ability to obtain certification.

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or sit for long periods.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and logging information.

* Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.
