Description: General Contracting Company seeking a full-time Commercial or Residential Job Site Foreman.
Responsibilities- Supervise all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
- Coordinate daily tasks with Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers.
- Ensure crews meet project goals, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Ensure materials, equipment, and tools are on site and ready when needed.
- Review work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Conduct regular inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address workmanship issues immediately and enforce quality standards.
- Maintain a safe job site and enforce company safety policies.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Ensure proper use of PPE, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Oversee site cleanliness, material organization, and equipment storage.
- Ensure the job site is secure during and after work hours.
- Manage waste disposal and environmental compliance.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, contractors, and inspectors.
- Respond to questions and resolve conflicts quickly and professionally.
- Communicate changes, delays, or site conditions that may impact the project.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- 3–5 years of experience in construction, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven experience managing commercial, residential, or mixed-use job sites.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, labor crews, and suppliers.
- Familiarity with construction scheduling tools, daily logs, and project documentation.
- Competence with basic computer and mobile applications, such as email, reporting software, or project management applications.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to provide eligibility of right to work in the US.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
Compensation: Pay determined upon hire, based on experience.
