Assistant Photographer & Marketing Assistant

You will work directly in the Marketing Department under the Marketing Director and Head Photographer. We are looking for someone with great photo editing or video editing experience that can learn new processes. You will also be assisting the department to get ready for shoots and other marketing activities so while you will have some consistent responsibilities, we may regularly be teaching you new things.

There will be a level of administrative work, along with the photography, such as adjusting ads, sending out reports and preparing apparel for shoots. Candidates should have experience with Photoshop, but you will be trained on any administrative requirements and on our processes for photo and video editing.

• Help coordinate photo and video shoots, including preparing products.
• Provide photoshopping for product listings.
• Provide video editing for product listings.
• Help add to and maintain the company’s photo library.
• Help update account health needs for different marketplaces.
• Foster strong collaboration with other departments to meet shared objectives and improve processes.
• Support day-to-day media efforts as needed.
• Posting to social media accounts.
• Help with social media creation as time allows.
• We have a company requirement that time off not be requested between Black Friday and Christmas. The Marketing Department helps in our domestic printing department and with sending products to Amazon fulfillment during Christmas rush.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least two years experience in either photography or videography.
• Adobe Photoshop experience required.
• Adobe design experience preferred.
• Google Docs experience preferred.
• Basic Excel experience preferred.
